Abstract

The invention aims to provide a method for making cool sense denim from multifunctional sheath-core fibers. The denim is structurally formed by three types of yarn which is twisted into a single stripof composite yarn, wherein the three types of yarn have different fiber characteristics; then the single strip of composite yarn achieves the ventilation effect through a specific yarn weaving methodor unique warp and weft staggering; and the three types of yarn are each made from four textures of fibers, wherein one of the four textures of fibers is an elastic material, the second one of the four textures of fibers is composite yarn which is made from the sheath-core fibers adopting nylon as sheath layers and polyethylene terephthalate (PET) as core layers, and the third one of the four textures of fibers is Rayon or Viscose using wood pulp fibers. According to the method, the characteristics of the three types of yarn are fused, after being composited, the three types of yarn are applied to the denim, and thus the denim has all the characteristics of multiple cool sense functions such as sweat absorbing, heat resistance, cool sense, quick drying, glossiness and ultraviolet resistance.
