Electro-optical device, method of driving electro-optical device, and electronic apparatus

The invention provides an electro-optical device that stabilizes display quality by performing correction processing corresponding to a plurality of disturbance factors. Specifically, a grayscale characteristic generating unit can generate conversion data having grayscale characteristics obtained by changing the grayscale characteristics of display data that defines the grayscales of pixels with reference to a conversion table whose description contents include correction factors. A data line driving circuit can drive the pixels after correcting the grayscale characteristics of the conversion data by the correction factors using other processing different from the that performed by the grayscale characteristic generating unit.

Telescopic nut

A nut assembly is disclosed that will ensure that the shank of a bolt that features a measurable grip length will pass through the contact plane of adjoining members. The nut assembly also allows the desired compressive force in the adjoining members to be attained by using a telescopic feature of the nut to allocate additional thread action for the bolt, enabling the bolt to be drawn into the nut further than what would be allowed by a standard nut. The adaptability of the nut assembly can eliminate the need for washers or shims to adjust the shank penetration of the bolt. The nut assembly is useful for application in which the specified thread length and the grip length of the bolt is incompatable with the abutment thickness of the adjoining members.

An improved anchor device or fastening member which is particularly suited for use in the attachment of various fixtures and equipment to masonry, concrete, and other hard and / or friable substrates includes a head and a shank depending therefrom. The shank has a first threaded portion having a predetermined thread angle and a predetermined hardness, and a second threaded portion having a predetermined thread angle and a predetermined hardness. The first threaded portion is proximate to the head and the second threaded portion extends from the first threaded portion. The thread angle of the first threaded portion is different than the thread angle of the second threaded portion. In addition, the hardness of the first threaded portion is softer than the hardness of the second threaded portion. This provides for a more ductile anchorage when the fastening member is engaged with the substrate.
