Abstract

The invention discloses a four-order Ka waveband band-pass filter based on a printed ridge gap waveguide. The filter comprises a microstrip filter structure arranged on the upper surface of a dielectric substrate, a top metal cover plate and a feed dielectric layer located in the middle layer and used for stabilizing an air gap. The microstrip filter structure comprises an input port, an output port, two half-wavelength coupling transmission line resonators and two T-shaped resonators. Two transmission zeros outside a passband can be obtained and adjusted by adjusting the longitudinal lengthsof the two T-shaped resonators, so that better frequency selection is realized, and the performances such as in-band insertion loss, relative bandwidth, in-band flatness and out-band rejection of thefilter are superior to those of a traditional Ka waveband band-pass filter. The invention also provides a processing and manufacturing scheme, and a test result is basically consistent with a simulation result. The antenna is simple in structure, small in size, easy to process, stable in performance, high in integrity and easy to systematically integrate with other circuits, and has wide application in future millimeter wave communication transmission application.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a fourth-order Ka-band bandpass filter based on a printed ridge gap waveguide, which can be used in the technical field of millimeter wave transmission. Background technique [0002] In microwave systems, the microstrip structure is widely used in filter design. Although the structure of the microstrip line is simple, easy to process, and low in cost, when the operating frequency rises to the millimeter wave frequency band, the microstrip line exposes the disadvantages of excessive loss and low power capacity, which comes from the noise of the microstrip line Scattering radiation, including radiation waves, leakage waves, and surface waves, and the higher the frequency, the more prominent the problem. Similarly, although the rectangular guided wave has the advantages of simple structure, high mechanical strength, low loss, and large power capacity, it inevitably has problems such as too small size, difficult processing, and di...
