The manufacturing method of the petroleum drill pipe comprises the following steps: decarbonizing and refining the liquid steel containing the components to form steel billets and hot rolling into seamless steel tubes through a mandrel mill, wherein after being rolled into the seamless steel tubes, the steel tubes are needed to be subjected to the heat treatment processes of two-time quenching and high-temperature tempering so as to guarantee the strength and the toughness of the steel tubes.
