liquid crystal display device and a preparation method thereof. The
liquid crystal display device comprises a first substrate, a second substrate, a
colored filter layer, afirst transparent conductive layer, a light-shielding element array, a second transparent conductive layer, and a
liquid crystal layer, wherein the second substrate is opposite to the first substrate,the
colored filter layer is located on the side, near the second substrate, of the first substrate, the first transparent conductive layer is located on the side, near the second substrate, of the
colored filter layer, the light shielding element array extends in the direction from the first transparent conductive layer to the second substrate, the second transparent conductive layer is located on the side, near the light-shielding element array, of the second substrate, and the liquid
crystal layer is located between the first transparent conductive layer and the second transparent conductive layer. The second transparent conductive layer includes a plurality of common electrodes, each common
electrode includes a plurality of annular sub-electrodes, and the projections, on the first substrate, of the sub-electrodes and the light-shielding element array are not overlapped with one another.
