The liquid crystal composition comprises a component I, a component II, a component III and a component IV, wherein the component I accounts for 38%-80% by weight, the component II accounts for 18%-60% by weight, the component III accounts for 1%-8% by weight, and the component IV accounts for 0%-6% by weight. The liquid crystal composition disclosed by the invention has a relatively large dielectric anisotropy absolute value, proper optical anisotropy and a wide nematic phase temperature range, can be well applied to a low-voltage LCOS liquid crystal displayer, and can also be suitable for other related liquid crystal wide-temperature display, so that a liquid crystal device can be used in high-heat and high-cold zones, and the problem that a liquid crystal material used by an existing LCOS cannot meet the low-voltage liquid crystal requirement is solved.
