A cargo carrier having a U-shaped hitch sleeve on its bottom and legs with wheels on its sides. A hitch shaft is inserted into a trailer hitch on a vehicle and the U-shaped hitch sleeve fits over the hitch shaft. The legs have an internal screw type jack mechanism to raise and lower the cargo carrier to place the U-shaped hitch sleeve above and over the hitch shaft, and to raise the legs so that the vehicle can transport the cargo carrier on the hitch shaft without having to remove the legs. The wheels allow the cargo carrier to be portable when not connected to the vehicle. An electric air handling system automatically inflates the hybrid air and foam mattress as the bed begins its descent and deflates the mattress as the bed is pivoted to the vertical position, and preferably allows for pressure adjustment after the bed is down. The sleep system also uses thin flexible cambered slats, which both take up very little space and provide maximum comfort.

A sport sock with an integral shin guard has a series of inflatable bladder elements positioned next to and affixed to an inner surface of the sock material to overlie the shin of a wearer and perform a guard function when inflated. The bladder elements are inter-connected and may be connected to a small, manually-operated pump that is located at the rear upper portion of the sock. The support wall is mounted on suitable rollers at least one end that engages a surface to permit moving the paint supply support across the surface. A pair of non-rolling feet are connected to the paint supply support through pivoting link so that the feet can be moved from a position wherein they engage the surface and lift at least one end of the paint supply support so the rollers at that end of the paint supply support are lifted off the surface, the feet are movable a position wherein the feet clear the floor and the rollers support the paint supply support. As shown, rails forming parallel links comprise the feet and both ends of the paint supply support are raised and lowered. The rails provide a stable mount for the paint container support and any supported paint container when they are lowered.

Whatever elevation is selected by rotation of the control will be maintained without need to lock the position. A manual or electrical actuator may be provided. A height adjustable rest for the stock end of the rifle also be provided. The apparatus includes legs that may be removed and stored within the case containing the apparatus.

The present invention is a tool which provides a method for lifting. The tool has an adjustable handle member configured to be grasped by a user, joined to a lifting arm which is configured to engage an object to be lifted. The handle member and the lifting arm are rigidly connected at a vertex and form an obtuse angle there between. A traveler device attaches to and engages each of the vertical posts and supports the platform. Each traveler device has a sprocket gear engaging a complementary track extending up the post so that rotation of the gear moves the traveler device along the vertical post and lifts and lowers the platform. The traveler device has a worm type drive gear configured for receiving a driver and meshing with the sprocket gear. The drive gear is operated with a power drill or a crank drive. The platform includes a foot operated brake device providing a back up system to prevent the platform from accidentally dropping.

In one preferred form of the present invention, shown in FIG. 1, there is provided a high tonnage winch system (10) for use in offshore construction, transport and docking operations. The supporting framework has four frame members each including an elongated track, including two top frame members which extend downwardly from the ceiling and two bottom frame members.
