Insulated container with asymmetric lifting arrangement

A soft-sided insulated container assembly includes a collapsible cooler body made of insulated panels. The body is to be carried by an arrangement of lifting apparatus that includes asymmetrically arranged fittings. One lifting fitting may be an inboard shoulder strap. Another fitting may an handle located on an outboard portion of face of the container body, and may be at a height for engagement by the hand of the user. The soft-sided insulated container assembly may have a liner to contain liquids. The soft-sided insulated container assembly may have an easy access lid. The insulated container may be collapsed to a flat position, and secured in place. In one embodiment the asymmetric lifting arrangement includes a shoulder strap attached to the sides of the container in a manner that distributes the load into the sides of the container, and a grip, such as a handle, located on the lower portion of the front side of the container. The grip may be attached to the container so as to pull up on the bottom of the container when used by a person.

Harness tightening system

The present disclosure provides a harness adjustment system that may be used in various applications including backpacks, windsurf harnesses, kite-board harnesses, mountain climbing harnesses, utility harnesses, backpack shoulder straps, tie-down straps, and various belts for numerous applications. The harness adjustment system includes a first webbing strap, a winding reel, a cable tension member, and a strap lock. The winding reel is secured to a first portion of the strap. The cable is interconnected between a second portion of the strap and the winding reel. The cable loops from the strap to the reel such that winding of the reel retracts the cable to pull the second portion of the strap toward the first portion. The lock is coupled to the first strap second portion. The lock is selectively engageable with the second portion of the strap to relieve tension from the cable. Both cam and plate locks are disclosed.

Posture support garment

A posture support garment comprises shoulder cap straps designed to pull the shoulders back thereby straightening the wearer's posture. The shoulder cap straps may be lined with silicone or some other appropriate material to grip or “grab” the skin at the area of the pectoral muscles or may be designed to cup the shoulders mechanically. This invention provides an effective posture enhancement while also providing a garment that is comfortable to wear all day. The posture support garment may be integrally designed and manufactured into a brassiere, T-shirt, bodice, or other top garment. The posture support garment may be worn by computer users or others concerned with detrimental genetic posture or the detrimental effects of everyday activity.

A prosthetic brassiere with first and second brassiere cups for retaining a prosthetic breast relative to the first cup, the second cup, or both cups. At least one back strap can traverse from outboard sides of the brassiere cups to form a body-encircling portion by use of a front-closure or rear-closure fastening arrangement. The fastening arrangement can have first and second jaw panels, a tongue panel, and hook and loop material for selectively retaining the first and second jaw panels relative to the tongue panel. The brassiere can have removable shoulder straps enabling conversion between strapped and strapless configurations. The shoulder straps can be coupled to the brassiere cups by retaining flaps that can be tucked into open inner volumes in the brassiere cups when the brassiere is in a strapless configuration. A privacy panel can be fixedly or removably retained relative to the brassiere cups traversing between upper portions thereof.

Figure enhancing garment

A figure-enhancing garment, which outlines and defines a wearer's body contours in a comfortable manner, includes a pair of pants having first and second pant leg portions, a front panel portion, and a waistband with a tunnel formed therein. The first and second pant leg portions are attached to the front panel portion via first and second interconnected tunnel seams that extend divergently from the crotch area and interconnect with the waistband tunnel. A third tunnel steam interconnects with the first and second tunnel seams and the waistband tunnel while extending upwardly from the crotch portion to the waistband. An adjustable pulley system extends through the waistband tunnel and the first, second and third tunnel seams to adjust the fit of the figure enhancing garment. Alternatively, the first and second seams are simple seams without tunnels. A pair of drawstrings anchored in the crotch portion of the pants, extend upwardly through the tunnel of the third seam and divergently through the tunnel in the waistband to adjust the fit of the figure enhancing garment.

Belt with expandable pouch

A compact yet expandable waist belt with a pouch preferably formed from a single piece of seamless elastic fabric, designed in some embodiments with pleats in the back, that remains taut around the wearer's body during even the most rigorous physical activities, whether the pouch is holding one smaller item (such as a key) or multiple larger items (such as a cell phone, mp3 player, and / or money). When empty, the pouch is preferably approximately the same width and thickness as the belt holding the pouch in place, and yet the pouch's internal volume can expand up to 300-400% or more to hold larger items or a large number of small items. Maternity garment

Maternity wear of the invention accommodates the changing shape of a woman's body during pregnancy, minimizing the need for maternity clothes. In one aspect of the invention, pants or a skirt are worn with the upper end unfastened so as to conform to the shape of the swelling torso in pregnancy, and an elastic band shaped similarly to a tube top is worn generally around the waist, so as to overlap the top of the unfastened pants or skirt and retain them on the body. A top, such as a blouse or shirt, can be worn with its tail end extending over the band. In another aspect of the invention, too-large maternity clothing is worn with the band garment engaged over the upper end. If desired the band garment can be folded over on itself, thus doubling its thickness.

Utility Jacket for Dog Walking

A jacket that is worn by a person walking a dog includes a main torso covering portion which can be closed to protect and provide warmth to the wearer's torso. A leash that can be utilized as a belt can be used to snuggly fit the jacket around the user's waist. The jacket also includes an exterior pocket that includes a roll of waste bags, typically in a roll. The exterior pocket includes an opening on the front surface of the pocket where a grommet is typically attached around the perimeter of the opening. The bag is pulled through the opening in the grommet to gain access to the bag. The lead bag is removed from the roll along the perforation separating the bags such that the walker can manually remove a bag from the pocket and tear the first bag away from the following bag while leaving the following bag in a position that is easily gripped for the next required cleaning.

Dual adjustable strap apparatus and method

The general method and apparatus of the invention comprises an adjustable strap system to secure one object to another, or one or more objects in a folded, rolled, or gathered position. In one embodiment, the invention comprises a single elongated strap of material having a first end and a second end, one end narrower than the other, a first side and a second side, four fastening surfaces or fasteners, three on one side and one on the opposite side, two positioned on each side of the narrow strap, and two positioned on the wide strap same side opposite the narrow strap. In the fastened state, the adjustable strap system secures the narrow strap by mating four opposing fastening surfaces thereby resulting in a dual locking adjustable strap system. In an alternative embodiment, two separate straps may be utilized with the dual locking mechanism of the present invention.

Watch band construction

The present invention provides a watch band construction which includes a top layer, a bottom layer and an insert. The top and bottom layers each have an aperture provided proximate to the tip ends thereof. The insert is positioned between the top and bottom layers within the apertures and is stitched to the top and bottom layers to secure the insert between the top and bottom layers. The insert provides the tip for the watch band, as well as the holes through which the buckle prong extends. The tip may be formed with raised portions and the holes may be formed with angled walls at the bottom of the insert. The insert is formed with a curve bias along both a length and width thereof. The insert is formed of a sturdy material, such as resin, such that it is durable and long lasting in the areas of high wear.

The adhesive is a second adhesive web layer positioned between the stretchable base layer and the first cushion layer to secure the cushion filler to the cover, and a third adhesive web layer positioned on the first cushion layer to secure the bottom fabric to the cushion filler. The components of the cushion strap assembly are laminated together completely by heat and adhesive. The present invention also provides a method and device for making this cushion strap.

An adjustable brassiere is provided with a first adjustable buckle fastener in the middle of the interval between the two cups and second adjustable buckle fasteners in the middle of side-straps linking the two cups. A carrying strap and method of making wherein the strap is adapted to support a load and includes a flexible webbing material and a spring element that dissipates and attenuates the shocks and vibrations caused by bouncing of the load as it is carried. One embodiment of the carrying strap includes (1) an elongate length of flexible webbing material and (2) a spring element including a resilient material positioned adjacent to at least a portion of the flexible webbing material such that each of the resilient material and the section of flexible webbing material has a corrugated profile. In response to the load causing a shock force on the carrying strap, the spring element expands and contracts to absorb, attenuate, and / or dissipate the shock force caused by bouncing of the load as it is carried.
