Vessel having extensions for supporting swim platform and concealing outboard engines

A vessel, including a transom for mounting outboard engines thereto, is spanned on opposite sides by aft-facing hull extensions which extend beyond the engines and allow a swim platform to be positioned between the hull extensions. The design allows the outboard engines to be covered with an engine cover, which provides an attractive vessel design in which the outboard engines can be concealed with a cover, which may serve other functions, such as a seat or the like. The cover houses an engine cowl mist shield which includes a support frame surrounding one or more outboard engines. The frame includes aperture(s) with edges spaced from the cowl and a flexible member extending from the edges to the cowl below the air intake of the cowl, such that spray and mist from the operation of the vessel does not reach the air intake of the cowl.

Systems, devices, and methods for providing a swinging system and platform assembly that deploys a swim platform from the front of a pontoon boat which is mounted underneath the deck between the pontoons in a raised position adjacent to the underside of the pontoon deck. The platform assembly, when deployed, provides a safe method for users of pontoon boat vessels to access the front deck area from land or from a body of water. The platform deploys from two pivoting frames affixed to the bottom of the deck, which is powered by an actuator with the push of a button on the control panel. For deployment, the platform is both lowered and extended out from the pontoon boat. A powered actuator positions the platform in the deployed position for use and then retracts the platform for storage.

Inflatable boat transom platform device

An inflatable boat platform floatation device having a “T” or “U” shaped opening in the front surface that receives the motor(s) and wraps around the motor(s) and sides of a boat allowing the front surface to engage the transom and side surfaces forming the opening at the front surface to engage the sides of the boat near the stern such that the platform rests against the boat in a manner that shields the propeller(s) from ropes, debris, hands and feet while providing a platform for the passengers outside the boat. The platform has top and bottom surfaces that are connected by stitched polyester fibers (“SPF”) which hold the surfaces together and determine the platform's thickness when inflated and keep the surfaces uniform and rigid when the platform is inflated. The upper surface includes at least one ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) pad. The platform further includes a plurality of handles, at least one inflation and deflation valve and a plurality of D-rings for securing the platform to a boat and tethering other platforms or tethering other watercraft to the platform.

Marine vessel sliding door system and method

A gunwale sliding section is integrated into a stern portion of a gunwale of a marine vessel. The gunwale sliding section is slideably positioned. The longitudinal motion of the gunwale sliding section is parallel to the gunwale, wherein a sternward motion provides an open configuration and bow-ward motion provides a closed configuration. A rail and slide assembly enables the sliding motion. The stern arrangement of the gunwale sliding section enables a wider span across the opening, thus enhancing embarking and disembarking of the marine vessel. The gunwale sliding section can be manually operated or employ automated mechanisms, such as a hydraulic system, a pneumatic system, a motor driven system, and the like.
