Equestrian riding breeches garment and method for its manufacture

An equestrian riding garment includes a pair of pants of elastic material having inner leg expanses and a butt expanse of durable material affixed to corresponding regions thereof, the inner leg and butt expanses being made of real or faux leather that is perforated to increase air permeability and to promote friction with a saddle. Preferably, the butt expanse is bifurcated into left and right sub-pieces corresponding with the equestrian's left and right buttocks. Optionally, a knee region of the inner leg expanses is articulated, as by segmenting. Optionally, an abdominal and / or inner calf region of the pair of pants includes an inner support layer of extra fabric for more flattering fit.

Horseback riding machine

The invention provides a horse riding machine, comprising a base, a swinging saddle device and a drive device. The swinging saddle device comprises a first swinging saddle which is swung relative to the base, a second swinging saddle which is swung relative to the first swinging saddle and a maintaining unit which is connected between the first swinging saddle and the second swinging saddle. The second swinging saddle is driven by manpower, the maintaining unit allows the second swinging saddle to constantly maintain a trend back to a non-swinging state relative to the first swinging saddle, and the drive device comprises a transmission unit which is used for driving the first swinging saddle to swing relative to the base and a drive part which is used for driving the transmission unit, thereby providing the horse riding machine with simple structure and lower cost.

Improved surcingle sets useful with equestrian equipment, and methods of making the surcingle sets, are provided. One such surcingle set (200) for use with equestrian equipment includes a male component (250) and a female component (210). The male component has an extension (260) extending from a surface (268) thereof. The female component has a coupling hole (220) disposed therethrough, the coupling hole including a first hole (222) and a smaller second hole (224) connected to the first hole. An inner surface of the coupling hole has a friction layer (214) disposed thereover. The friction layer has a greater coefficient of friction than the extension. By increasing the friction between the extension and the coupling hole, the extension has a more secure fit in the hole and the likelihood for unintended slippage between the extension and coupling hole is reduced.
