Abstract

The invention provides a portable neutron and gamma ray dose measuring device, which comprises a detector, a counter and a data processing module, wherein the detector is a semiconductor detector containing a Cd-113 material and is used for detecting and recording gamma rays released by a capture reaction between thermal neutrons and the Cd-113 material and generating a thermal neutron prompt signal; the counter is a gas proportional counter tube containing a hydrogen-rich material and is used for detecting and recording proton energy released by a nuclear recoil reaction between the hydrogen-rich material and the fast neutrons and generating a fast neutron prompt signal; and the detector and the counter are respectively connected with the data processing module so as to send the thermal neutron prompt signal and the fast neutron prompt signal to the data processing module. According to the portable neutron and gamma ray dose measuring device, the neutron and gamma ray dose is measured through the combination of the tellurium-zinc-cadmium detector and the hydrogen-containing proportional counter tube, the overall size of the measuring device can be reduced, and meanwhile high measuring precision is achieved.
