Abstract

The invention discloses a portable multi-functional light source for imaging spectrometer calibration and a calibration method. The multi-functional light source comprises a light-emitting device, an engineering scattering sheet and an absorption cell. The light-emitting device is used for setting a light source according to the working wave band requirement of a to-be-calibrated imaging spectrometer and providing incident light for the engineering scattering sheet. The engineering scattering sheet is used for receiving and diffusing the incident light and then outputting a surface light source with uniform intensity to the absorption cell. The absorption cell is used for exciting element energy level transition in the absorption cell by using the received surface light source to obtain a third light source for calibrating the to-be-calibrated imaging spectrometer. The components, the air pressure and the length in the absorption cell are determined according to the spectral response range and the resolution ratio of the to-be-calibrated imaging spectrometer. The invention provides a portable, adjustable, flexible and switchable high-precision calibration light source with a wide coverage wavelength range, and calibration of imaging nonuniformity, spectral resolution and wavelength of an imaging spectrometer can be carried out at the same time.
