Abstract

The invention relates to a method for measuring torque of a low temperature superconductive wire, and an apparatus thereof. The apparatus is characterized in that a supporting rod is a circular pipe with notches; a sliding block is embedded in the circular pipe and is slidingly connected with the supporting rod; one end of the supporting rod is provided with an angle indicating dial and a rotating knob; a through hole is arranged at the centers of the sliding block and the rotating knob; a screw for fixing to-be-measured wire are disposed at the edge of the through hole; and the size of each notch of the supporting rod is smaller than the diameter of the supporting rod. The method is simple, shortens a measuring period (about 0.5 h to 1 h for measuring one sample), and has good repeatability. By using the method for measuring the torque, efficiency of product performance detection is increased, because the method has strong operability and can be mastered by general workers through simple training; and the problem of difficult detection of the torque for low temperature superconductive wire is solved.
