Abstract

The invention relates to a new enramycin-producing strain and a high-yielding mutant strain thereof. In the invention, streptomyces obtained by separating marine environment is screened by using a primer designed by aiming at the conserved domains of lipopeptide antibiotics synthetic genes, and the new enramycin-producing strain of lipopeptide antibiotics is obtained through homology comparison. The invention also utilizes a ribosome engineering technology to breed mutant strains which has increased yield of enramycin. The invention provides a new strain source for fermenting and producing the enramycin, and the mutant strains can be used for industrial production.

Description

Technical field: [0001] The invention relates to a peptide antibiotic-producing bacterium in the technical field of biomedicine, in particular to a new enramycin-producing bacterium and a high-yield mutant strain thereof. Background technique: [0002] Enramycin, also known as enleamycin, enramycin, anlemycin, and duramycin, is a polypeptide antibiotic produced by the soil actinomycete Streptomyces fungicidious ATCC 21013. The drug was developed by Takeda Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. in Japan in 1966, officially registered in Japan in 1974, and has since been registered and widely used in many countries. The technology was acquired by Schering-Plough Animal Health Products Co., Ltd. of the United States and used to produce feed premixes. [0003] Enramycin has strong antibacterial activity against Gram-positive bacteria such as Clostridium, Streptococcus, Staphylococcus, and Diplococcus pneumoniae, and has excellent growth-promoting and improving feed utilization. antibiotic g...
