The invention discloses a
stylus. The
stylus comprises a pen rod, a reflective mirror, a camera, a pen point and a
communication device, wherein the pen rod, the reflective mirror, the camera and the pen point are connected sequentially; the
communication device is connected to the camera; the camera obtains position information of a
system cursor on a display or a touch screen through the reflective mirror; the
communication device sends the obtained position information of the
system cursor to an
operating system; and the
operating system adjusts the position of the
system cursor to a position of a touch point. In addition, the invention also discloses a touch point identification method. The
stylus can be used to match with a common display to realize touch operations, so that replacement of a
display device or hardware modification of the display is unnecessary. In addition, the stylus also can match with conventional touch screens in any size and any type; as the touch device is unnecessary to
mount on the display, the size of the display is reduced correspondingly, and no cost is added along with the increase of the size of the display.
