capacitance principle, a touch detection
chip can judge the touch position by detecting the
capacitance value change of all the self-capacitance electrodes in a touch time period, wires which are insulated from
data lines and have the same wiring direction with the
data lines are arranged on the same layer of the
data lines, and the wires are used for connecting the self-capacitance electrodes to the touch detection
chip. Due to the fact that graphs of the layer where the data lines are located are changed and the wires connected with the self-capacitance electrodes are formed, compared with a manufacturing process that two film
layers need to be added based on an existing array substrate manufacturing process, the
touch function can be achieved only by adding the process for forming a layer of self-capacitance electrodes, production cost is reduced, and production efficiency is improved. The wires and the data lines have the same wiring direction, the joints of the wires and the touch detection
chip cannot occupy frames on the two sides, and the narrow frame design is easily achieved.
