98 results about "Mobile network code" patented technology

The ITU-T Recommendation E.212 defines mobile country codes (MCC) as well as mobile network codes (MNC).. Overview. The mobile country code consists of three decimal digits and the mobile network code consists of two or three decimal digits (for example: MNC of 001 is not the same as MNC of 01).

Operator configuration information loading method and terminal

The invention discloses an operator configuration information loading method and a terminal. The method comprises: obtaining network identity information of the terminal, and enabling the network identity information to comprise a mobile country code (MCC) and a mobile network code (MNC); when determining that the number of operator configuration information corresponding to the terminal is at least two groups according to the network identity information, obtaining secondary network identity information of the terminal, and enabling the secondary network identity information to comprise group identification numbers (GID); and obtaining and loading the operator configuration information corresponding to the terminal according to the secondary network identity information. The operator configuration information loading method enables the terminal to correctly distinguish operators, correct configuration information is automatically loaded, and the terminal can adapt to operators of various types.

IMS parameter configuration method and system, mobile terminal and readable storage medium

The invention discloses an IMS parameter configuration method and system, a mobile terminal and a readable storage medium. The method comprises the steps that the application processor in the mobile terminal acquires an international mobile subscriber identification number from a baseband processor through a preset command; the application processor in the mobile terminal collects IMS configuration parameters and associates the mobile country code and the mobile network code in the international mobile subscriber identification number with the IMS configuration parameters; the application processor in the mobile terminal transmits the mobile country code, the mobile network code and the IMS configuration parameters to the baseband processor; and the baseband processor in the mobile terminal receives the IMS configuration parameters from the application processor and sets the IMS configuration parameters of the corresponding service provider according to the mobile country code and the mobile network code. The IMS parameters of the baseband processor are configured through the application processor so that the efficiency can be enhanced and the cost of the mobile terminal manufacturer in the aspects of authentication, field testing and project maintenance can be reduced.

Derivation of user equipment identifiers

Solutions are described that enable a user equipment (UE) for a communication system always to derive required identifiers using an international mobile subscriber identity (IMSI). The Mobile Network Code (MNC) may be two or three digits long. The SIM may not provide information regarding the MNC length. One solution is based on a table, or list, that is maintained in the UE and which is used to retrieve the MNC for a given Mobile Country Code (MCC). Another solution is based on always taking a predetermined number of digits of the IMSI and determining the MNC in a DNS server. Yet another solution is based on try-and-fail signaling with a DNS server. In consequence, the UE does not always need to know how many digits of the IMSI are used to indicate the mobile network code (MNC), which in some situations is impossible to know anyway.
