The paint comprises the following raw materials in parts by weight: 50-70 parts of zinc slurry, 25-35parts of an alkali silicate additive, 2-4 parts of a chelating agent, 2-5 parts of ion exchange water and an adhesive, wherein the weight ratio of the zinc slurry to the adhesive is 2:1; the zinc slurry comprises 0.84% of lithium silicate, 49.4% of zinc powder, 49.36% of deionized water and 0.4% of a surfactant. The invention aims to provide the zinc-enriched aqueous industrial paint which is lowin price, low in preparation cost and high in stability; according to the preparation method, the ion exchange water is put into an alkali silicate solution, then the alkali silicate solution is hydrolyzed, the polymerization degree of the alkali silicate solution is reduced, the zinc powder is put into the solution later, a dense silica coating is formed on the surface of the zinc powder, and contact of zinc with water is thus avoided.
