Abstract

The invention provides a medicine which comprises an active components, namely, 3,5,6,7,3',4'-substituted flavone, for preventing and treating cachexia, and application of flavone in preparing a medicine for treating cancer cachexia. The in vivo experiment of mouse shows that after certain positions of a substituted flavone compound are chemically modified, weight loss and anorexia caused by malignant tumor induced cachexia are effectively inhibited, the body quality and muscle treatment are improved, the anorexia is alleviated, and the research result provides support for developing the flavone compound into a medicine for treating cachexia.
