Problems solved by technology

[0003] The pollution rate of drinking water sources in my country is very high. The current conventional water treatment process cannot effectively remove trace organic pollutants in water, which directly threatens the health of urban residents.
At present, ozone oxidation, activated carbon adsorption or the combination of the two decontamination technologies commonly used in foreign countries have high costs, large equipment investment, and high operating costs, which have been difficult to promote and apply in my country.

Embodiment Construction

[0035] The method for removing toluene from water using aerobic granular sludge of the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings and embodiments.

[0036] Aerobic granular sludge technology is a new technology developed since the 1990s. Aerobic granular sludge is a microbial aggregate community formed by millions of different kinds of bacteria. The method for cultivating aerobic granular sludge of the present invention utilizes the characteristics of aerobic granular sludge with regular shape, compact structure and excellent sedimentation, and can realize higher sludge concentration in the reactor. The entire system occupies a small area, has high organic and hydraulic loads and is resistant to load shocks. The remaining sludge is small and stable, and it has the function of removing nitrogen and phosphorus.

Abstract

The invention provides a method for removing toluene in water by utilization of aerobic granular sludge. The method comprises the following steps: measuring the COD value; extracting extracellular polymers; calculating the sludge settling ratio; calculating the sludge concentration; using a microscope for microscopical examination, using an acid-base meter to measure the pH value, and using a dissolved oxygen meter to measure the DO value; and using a common thermometer to measure the room temperature and the water temperature. The method has the advantages that culture of the aerobic granular sludge is favorable for realizing improvement of the prior sewage treatment technology, and is beneficial in the aspects of treatment of water pollution, control of eutrophication of water bodies, protection of water resources and ecology, and so on. The method combines actual sewage and simulated sewage to culture the aerobic granular sludge, has better removal effect on pollutants in wastewater, has simple preparation technology, simple and convenient operation, low energy consumption and low cost, provides novel technology suitable for industrialization for the water treatment industry, and simultaneously provides technical support for releasing water resource shortage and improving the water environmental pollution condition.

Description

Technical field [0001] The invention relates to a method for removing toluene from water by using aerobic granular sludge. Background technique [0002] Toluene is a common pollutant and is listed in the blacklist of priority pollutants. It has a certain solubility in water (0.45g / L) and is very stable. It is difficult to react chemically under normal temperature and pressure. Ordinary physical and chemical methods cannot completely remove toluene from water [1] . It has chronic harm to the human body's nerves, digestion, skin and blood. It has a stimulating effect on the skin and mucous membranes. It has an anesthetic effect on the central nervous system at high concentrations. With the continuous development of large-scale industrial production, rivers, lakes and bays in many countries have been polluted. Especially with the offshore oil exploration and transportation, oil leakage has also caused serious water pollution in some sea areas. [0003] The pollution rate of drinking...
