A close-fitting, compression garment is described for providing adjustable compressive force over a surgical site in the dorsocervical region of the human body below the neck, above and between the shoulder blades of the upper back. The vest body portion of the invented garment has graduated or increasing elasticity encircling the upper torso and shoulder region of the body. Wide adjustable elastic pressure bands pressure anchored at the dorsocervical apex at the back of the vest stretch over the shoulders of the patient and adjustably anchored to anchor strips secured to the front chest surface of the vest for establishing compression over a surgical site in the dorsocervical region during recovery as needed both for rehabilitation and comfort.

A draping system provides a continuous sterile field between a patient incision area and one or more medical practitioners. The draping system has a quick release system incorporated into the drape that enables a medical practitioner to separate from the continuous sterile field without disrupting the sterile field around the practitioner or the patient. A one piece garment having a bottom portion with two leg openings connected to a openable torso portion with two arm openings and a neck opening with closable seams on the left and right front shoulder and arm sections of the garment with detachably fastenable closure means intermittently spaced on adjacent mating edges for dressing an infant, an invalid or oneself without effort or difficulty. The top portion's detachably fastenable closure means begins at the front of the neck opening and continues across the front of the shoulder section; or at the front of the neck opening down the sleeve to an unopenable sleeve cuff banding or all the way down the sleeve to the cuff banding, allowing for the complete opening of the sleeve. A disposable surgical gown includes a front portion, a pair of sleeves, and first and second back portions. Stabilizers positioned on the interior of the garment may be used to secure medical monitor wires, tubing, or other devices. The garment is intended for wear by children and adults.

An example garment has a front portion including an opening for a person's neck, and an off-center opening extending in a downward direction from the neck area. The off-center opening may extend less than the full length of the front portion. This example garment may also have one or more slanted and / or upright side pockets.
