A method for inter-network communication between a first user and a second user. The method includes receiving a first request for a location associated with the second user from a first switching system for a first network. The method processes information associated with the first request and determines a network identifier for a second network related to the location associated with the second user. The method sends to the first switching system a location message, which includes the network identifier for the second network. The method includes receiving a third request for routing information associated with the second user in the second network from a second switching system for the second network. The method determines a location directory in the second network for the second user and receives the roaming information for the second user from the location directory. The method then sends the roaming information to the second switching system.

Method for implementing mobile number portability

A scheme is provided for realizing Mobile Number Portability (MNP) by utilizing a signaling flow of prior mobile network standards such that no modification to the main apparatuses, such as VMSC, GMSC, and HLR, and the like, of the prior networks is required; only a NPDB+ apparatus is required and added, that is, a combination of NPDB and NPHLR. A user of Number portability from an original or home network to a second or other network will be a user of Number Portability out (NP out) among the users of the second network. The number section of the user belongs in the network, and it is able to assign a virtual roaming number to identify the situation of Number Portability (NP) of the user. A user of Number Portability from the second network to the home network is a user of Number Portability in (NP in) among the users of the home network. The NPDB+ apparatus is newly built to store the data of MNP mobile users who enter the home network and to accomplish the associated functions without any modification to the structure of the network. The distribution technology is used for storing the data of the NPDB+. The database is of high reliability such that the circuitous voice circuits do not existed, and the metering between the networks is easy. The newly added apparatus NPDB+ is superimposed on the prior networks, when there are less users during an early period, and only small amount of construction is required. The expansion of the capacity of the networks can be completed by adding portions of an apparatus based on the development condition of MNP services. The expansiveness of the networks is excellent, particularly, it is suitable for the mobile operating agents who have very large scale prior networks.

The system comprises a value-added service platform and a mobile number portability support platform, wherein the mobile number portability support platform is used for sending the number information of mobile number portability to the value-added service platform; and the value-added service platform is used for establishing a connection with the mobile number portability support platform, obtaining the number information of mobile number portability, and providing the value-added service to the isomerous-network number of mobile number portability according to the number information of mobile number portability, wherein the number information of mobile number portability comprises the isomerous-network number range information or isomerous-network number information. Message routing method and system in LTE (Long Term Evolution) network and gateway

The invention relates to a message routing method in an LTE (Long Term Evolution) network. The method comprises the steps that an MME (Mobility Management Entity) in a roaming place LTE network sends an access request to an international roaming gateway DRA (Diameter Routing Agent), wherein the access request carries a source user identifier; the DRA positions a first HSS (Home Subscriber Server) according to the source user identifier and sends a request message to the first HSS, wherein the source user identifier, an identifier of whether to support request retry or not and the identifier of whether to support routing optimization or not are carried in the request message; when the first HSS discovers that a user does not exist after searching a database according to the source user identifier, if the identifier of whether to support request retry or not is supporting request retry and the identifier of whether to support routing optimization or not is supporting routing optimization, the first HSS returns an error code to the international roaming gateway DRA and a request retry support mark and a routing optimization support mark are carried in the error code; the DRA analyzes the error code, initiates a search request to EMNP (Evolved Mobile Number Portability), searches corresponding target user identifier and target routing address according to the source user identifier, and redirects to a second HSS through utilization of the target user identifier and the target routing address, thereby initiating the access request.

A method of effectively managing a database system for mobile number portability (MNP) including constructing a database associated with the MNP of a neutral organization including a first database connected to number portability management systems of a plurality of wired or wireless telecommunications service providers and a second database connected to subscriber managements systems of the wireless telecommunications service providers; transmitting data required for number portability call processing to the first database after the number portability processing for the wired telecommunications service providers has been completed by the second database; and allocating associated information to the wired or wireless telecommunications service providers requiring the number portability call processing by the first database based on the data. Accordingly, a conventional database management system can be modified, and a specific packet structure can be employed to detect errors that occur during transmission and reception of customer information for the number portability processing. Therefore, it is possible to construct effective subscriber management systems for mobile number portability.
