Problems solved by technology

[0003] Due to the limitations of the arc melting process, it is currently difficult to prepare contacts with a Cr content below 35%, and the degassing effect is poor due to rapid solidification. The purity requirement is high, the impurity removal effect of the process is limited, and the overall manufacturing cost is high. Although the vacuum induction melting process has low preparation cost and can effectively degas and remove impurities, it needs a crucible as a melting carrier and smelting for a long time. Scouring will cause the crucible to fall off and introduce inclusions, which will affect the performance of the product, and when the Cr content exceeds 40%, it is difficult to obtain a uniform CuCr alloy melt even in the liquid state, so the Cr content of the produced CuCr alloy is ≤40%

Embodiment 1

[0029] A method for preparing CuCr alloy by plasma-assisted vacuum induction melting of Cr powder, comprising the following steps:

[0030] S1 ingredients: configure Cu powder and Cr powder according to the weight percentage so that the Cr content accounts for 50%;

[0031] S2 Green body preparation: put Cu powder and Cr powder into the mixer for ball milling and mixing, and mix the total weight of the mixed powder and copper balls according to the ball-to-material ratio of 100:100 for 9 hours; then use cold isostatic pressing To form a green body, the pressure of cold isostatic pressing is controlled at 220MPa, and the holding time of cold isostatic pressing is controlled at 8min; after the completion of cold isostatic pressing, the green body is degassed and sintered, and the temperature of degassed sintering is controlled at 1020°C. The holding time of degassing and sintering is controlled at 150min; the CuCr alloy green body is obtained; the mixed powder is mixed by ball m...

Embodiment 2

[0038] This example is basically the same as Example 1, except that the ratio of Cu powder and Cr powder in step S1 is different, specifically: S1 ingredients: the Cu powder and Cr powder are configured according to the percentage by weight of the Cr content 1%.

Embodiment 3

[0040] This example is basically the same as Example 1, except that the ratio of Cu powder and Cr powder in step S1 is different, specifically: S1 ingredients: the Cu powder and Cr powder are configured according to the percentage by weight of the Cr content 80%.

Abstract

The invention discloses a method for preparing a CuCr alloy through Cr powder plasma-assisted vacuum induction melting. The method comprises the steps of material preparation, green body preparation, combination of plasma melting and vacuum induction melting and fusion casting solidification, wherein the combination of plasma melting and vacuum induction melting comprises the following steps of 1) putting a CuCr alloy green body into a furnace body, carrying out vacuumizing, and then preparing for plasma melting after gas washing; (2) heating a crucible while vacuumizing is carried out in the step (1), and carrying out induction heating and stirring on CuCr alloy liquid which falls into the crucible and is subjected to plasma smelting; and (3) vacuumizing for degassing and impurity removal after a CuCr alloy blank is completely subjected to plasma smelting. According to the method, a plasma smelting technology and a vacuum induction smelting technology are combined, the smelting efficiency is improved, the smelting time is shortened, and the content of Cr in a smelted CuCr alloy melt can reach 80% at most.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of manufacturing products from metal powder, in particular to a method for preparing CuCr alloy by using Cr powder plasma-assisted vacuum induction melting. Background technique [0002] CuCr alloys have been widely used in many industries because of their good electrical and thermal conductivity and corrosion resistance. Due to the low solid solubility of Cr in Cu, it is difficult to develop CuCr alloys with high Cr content. At present, there are mainly arc melting process and vacuum induction melting process. Although the vacuum induction melting process has low preparation cost and ...
