The preparation method comprises the steps of preparation of a seaweed spinning solution, preparation of a resin spinning solution, mixing of the spinning solutions, wet spinning and solvent evaporation, so that the prepared alginate fiber has excellent moisture absorption effect and moisturizing effect; the whole preparation steps are simple and convenient to operate, so that batch production of the alginate fiber is facilitated; and the alginate fiber has a good application prospect.
