Abstract

The invention discloses a method for preparing a hydrophobic porous wollastonite ceramic membrane for desalination by taking high-silicon high-calcium industrial solid waste as a raw material throughtape casting, belongs to the technical field of desalination, and aims to prepare the hydrophobic porous wollastonite ceramic membrane for membrane distillation desalination by taking high-silicon high-calcium solid waste as the raw material through low-cost tape casting. The method comprises the following steps: cleaning the solid waste with deionized water to neutrality, and activating the solidwaste; preparing a wollastonite raw material from the activated high-silicon high-calcium solid waste, activated calcium oxide and activated silicon dioxide in a mass ratio that the ratio of CaO: SiO2: solid waste is 13.6%: 35%: 51.4% (in mass percentage); mixing and ball-milling the wollastonite raw material, a binder that is polyethersulfone (PESf), a dispersant that is polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) and an organic solvent that is N-Methyl pyrrolidone (NMP), performing vacuum degassing, tape casting and phase inversion to obtain a ceramic membrane blank; then calcining, and finally modifying the blank with a hydrophobic agent to obtain the porous wollastonite ceramic membrane. The porous wollastonite ceramic membrane has a uniformly distributed pore structure, high hydrophobicity, high saltremoval rate and high salt removal flux.
