Abstract

The invention discloses a positioning method and device based on the Internet of Things, the method is suitable for an LPWAN, and at least one positioner is deployed in the LPWAN; the method is applied to a to-be-positioned resource provided with a positioning label. The method comprises the following steps: scanning a beacon message sent by a positioner, and obtaining an MAC address of the positioner and corresponding signal intensity according to the beacon message; determining the movement condition of the positioning label through a six-axis sensor; controlling the working mode of the positioning label according to the motion condition of the positioning label; and according to the current working mode, sending the positioning data containing the MAC address of the positioning tag, theMAC address of the positioner and the corresponding signal intensity to a LoRa base station, so that the LoRa base station returns the positioning data to a positioning server to position the to-be-positioned resource.
