Abstract

The invention provides a thallium-containing wastewater adsorption material and a preparation method thereof. The adsorption material comprises the following raw material components: chloromethyl polystyrene microspheres and thiourea. The chloromethyl polystyrene microspheres comprise the following raw materials: polystyrene microspheres, an organic solvent and tin tetrachloride. The preparation method comprises the following steps: 1, preparing polystyrene microspheres; step 2, preparing chloromethyl polystyrene microspheres; step 3: preparation of the adsorption material: adding the chloromethyl polystyrene microspheres and thiourea into absolute ethyl alcohol according to a mass ratio of 1:2, carrying out heating reflux for 2 hours to prepare an intermediate mixed solution, hydrolyzingthe intermediate mixed solution for 12 hours by using a 50% sodium hydroxide solution under the protection of nitrogen to prepare a mixed solution, and cooling the mixed solution, alternately cleaningthe mixed solution by using distilled water and a 2 mol / L hydrogen chloride aqueous solution, and drying the mixture to prepare the adsorption material.
