The rubber material comprises SSBR (solution polymerized styrene-butadiene rubber) 2564, butadiene styrene rubber, butadiene rubber, carbon black, zinc oxide, octadecanoic acid, an anti-aging agent, sulfur, aromatic hydrocarbon oil, an accelerant, a reinforcing agent, a thickening agent and a dispersing agent, wherein the aromatic hydrocarbon oil is high aromatic hydrocarbon oil, a silane coupling agent is further added, insoluble sulfur is adopted, and the rubber material is prepared through steps of plastication, mixing, open milling and the like. According to the tire tread material composition and the preparation method thereof, the obtained rubber material has better breaking strength, tensile strength and hardness; with the adoption of the raw materials with skid and wear resistance and through matching of reasonable composition design, the potential hazard to a processor and a user during production and use processes is greatly reduced, and safety, economic efficiency and adaptability of the product are wider; and with the adoption of the SSBR and the white carbon black, the slippery resistance of the tread rubber is remarkably improved, and meanwhile, the wear resistance is improved by means of the hard wear-resistant carbon black.
