A reclosable container is illustrated and described, having a rectangular base, four lateral surfaces positioned essentially perpendicularly to one another (body surfaces (1, 3)), a head region, sealed using a rib seam (5) after the container is filled, and a closure element (8), positioned on a slanted surface (7) in the head region, in which the container volume can be used optimally without losing the advantages of the known container in regard to production, filling, and sealing. The container is folded in this case so that the slanted surface (7) carrying the closure element (8) at least partially projects out of the rectangular profile predetermined by the base, so that the body surface (1) located below the closure element has a protuberance and the body surface lying opposite the projecting body surface (1) has a corresponding indentation, at least in the head region.

An ink-jet recording method for performing recording on a recording medium by attaching ink thereto with the recording medium adhering to a conveyor belt because of electrostatic attraction thereto is disclosed. In this method, the electrostatic attraction is caused by a charging unit that applies AC bias to the conveyor belt so that positive and negative charges are provided on the conveyor belt so as to alternate with each other in a direction in which the conveyor belt moves. A stackable container and blanks for forming a stackable container are disclosed. A transport container system includes a stackable crate having a bottom element and four side wall elements which are of a dimensionally and pressure stable structure. Each of the side wall elements has a foldable attachment element connected to it. When folded up, the attachment elements of the four side wall elements will form an attachment which will increase the volumetric capacity of the crates. The attachment elements will each bear on an upper side of the respective side wall element and be retained in the folded-up position by guides provided on the side wall elements. When folded down, the respective attachment elements can be integrated into the respective side wall element in such a manner that the attachment elements at least will not protrude substantially over the thickness of the side wall elements.

A sheet sorting apparatus includes a first tray detachable from an apparatus main body, a second tray arranged below the first tray, a discharge unit to discharge a sheet to the first or second tray, a tray detecting unit to detect that the first tray is detached from the apparatus main body, a full stack detecting unit to detect a fully stacked condition of the first tray, and a control unit to control the discharge unit. A seal arrangement, in particular a cartridge seal, which has a carrier ring that is fastenable to a first bearing ring and a cover ring that is movable in relation to the carrier ring and fastenable to a second bearing ring. The carrier ring carries an elastic part which forms at least one sealing lip that makes sliding sealing contact with the cover ring. The elastic part forms an overhang arranged axially on a radially running portion of the carrier ring, and the overhang radially covers a radial end piece of the cover ring at least partially.
