metamaterial and an antenna
system comprising the antenna housing. The high-wave-transmission
metamaterial comprises at least one metamaterial sheet layer, each metamaterial sheet layer comprises a first substrate, a second substrate and a plurality of artificial microstructures which are clamped between the first substrate and the second substrate and are arrayed, each artificial
microstructure comprises a square structure and four right-angled bent portions, the four right-angled bent portions of each artificial
microstructure are arranged inside the square structure of the artificial
microstructure and respectively enclose with four end corners of the square structure to form square structure units, the right-angled bent portions of each artificial microstructure are not overlapped mutually, and notches with identical sizes are respectively arranged at the four end corners of each square structure. The high-wave-transmission metamaterial has the advantages that
wave transmission efficiency within the frequency range of 5-6GHz is high, and loss is low. In addition, the radiating capacity of an antenna is strengthened after the antenna housing is arranged on the antenna, and
gain is effectively increased.
