Image-sensing apparatus

A database obtained based on the photoelectric conversion characteristics for R and G signals and a database obtained based on the photoelectric conversion characteristics for G and B signals are stored in LUTs respectively. Signal value calculators read out the databases from the LUTs respectively and perform white balance processing on the R and B signals respectively.

White block hypothesis based automatic white balance method of digital camera device

ActiveCN104618702AGood effectThe effect is: the present invention is more suitable for chip realizationColor signal processing circuitsHypothesisColor correction
The invention discloses a white block hypothesis based automatic white balance method of a digital camera device. The white block hypothesis based automatic white balance method comprises obtaining a raw image of a standard white color code plate through the digital camera device to be calibrated and dividing the obtained raw image into M*N division blocks; calculating average values of an R channel, a G channel and a B channel of every division block and obtaining the current gain; finding a definition area of the standard white under every color temperature; dividing an image to be corrected into M*N division blocks, determining whether the gain of every division block is contained in the definition area or not in turn and performing color correction on the integral image through a default value if the gain of any division block does not fall into the definition area range; accumulating the gain and the weight of the division blocks which fall into the definition area otherwise; dividing an obtained accumulated value by a weight value corresponding to every division block respectively to obtain the gain of the image to be corrected; achieving the automatic white balance correction through the gain. The white block hypothesis based automatic white balance method of the digital camera device is high in robustness and accurate in white balance.

Method of performing auto white balance in ycbcr color space

There is provided a method of performing auto white balance including: setting a plurality of sections of a whole range of a value of each of Y, Cb, and Cr in the YCbCr color space, according to a size of each value; calculating an accumulated Y, Cb, and Cr value of pixels included in each of the plurality of sections; determining effective sections according to the number of the pixels included in each of the plurality of sections; calculating a mean Y, Cb, and Cr value of pixels included in all of the effective sections by using the accumulated Y, Cb, and Cr value of each of the effective sections; calculating a mean RGB value by converting the mean Y, Cb, and Cr value into an RGB color space; and determining an RGB color gain of a Bayer image outputted from an image sensor by using the mean RGB value.

Liquid crystal display device

In a liquid crystal display device, the reduction of power consumption is realized by reddening a backlight while maintaining a white balance. An aperture ratio of a red subpixel and an aperture ratio of a blue subpixel are set such that, in a state where an aperture ratio of a green subpixel in each pixel of a liquid crystal panel is fixed to a desired value, white brightness efficiency takes a maximum value which is set based on a balance between light emission efficiency which is increased corresponding to lowering of a color temperature of the backlight and transmissivity of the pixel which is decreased corresponding to the increase of the aperture ratio of the blue subpixel.
