Convertible infant rocker

A convertible infant rocker which is adapted for use with a conventional infant / child car seat. The infant rocker includes a frame which is placeable onto an underlying support surface, and includes a support assembly connected thereto. The support assembly itself includes a cradle which defines a cradle cavity. In addition to the cradle, the support assembly includes a liner which is selectively placeable into the cradle cavity and engageable to the cradle, the liner itself being sized and configured to accommodate an infant. The infant rocker is selectively convertible between a liner configuration and a car seat configuration. In the liner configuration, the liner is cooperatively engaged to the cradle, with a portion of the liner being received within the cradle cavity. In the car seat configuration, the liner is disengaged and removed from the cradle, thus allowing for the cradle to accommodate a conventional infant car seat in which the infant may be positioned. In this regard, the cradle cavity is sized and configured to receive and accommodate at least a portion of the car seat when the car seat is cooperatively engaged to the cradle. The frame of the infant rocker may be configured so as to be selectively moveable between a deployed or extended position, and a collapsed or storage position.

Child's high chair that rotates as a unit to present a rocker or a desk

A furniture unit for supporting the weight of a child in various selectable seated positions may be rotated as a unit about a horizontal axis to present any one of three available occupant supporting surfaces. The primary occupant supporting surface is a child's high chair, preferably having a fixed tray. When tipped backward from the high chair position, the unit presents a previously inaccessible chair which is convexed on its lower surface to permit it to sway back and forth as a rocker. Alternatively, the unit may be tipped forward from the high chair position to present a previously inaccessible desk chair, with desktop, that is uniquely spaced from the floor by the fixed tray. The unit will most preferably slide up to a dining table while in the high chair position such that the fixed tray may be positioned just over the surface of the dining table. Additionally, the unit may include a storage compartment located behind the back of the high chair, a crotch strap or post for the high chair, and modular game boards that are interchangeably mounted over the desktop.

Adjustable rocker seat

<heading lvl="0">Abstract of Disclosure< / heading> An adjustable children's rocking chair is shown that can be readily converted without the use of tools between a configuration where it is used to support an infant in a more reclined position, and a configuration where it is suitable for use as a rocking chair by a toddler. The rocking chair includes a seat portion, a support portion connected to the seat portion, and the support portion being pivotably connected to a rocker base and being adjustable in length. The support portion includes a front frame assembly, such as a pair of front legs, and a rear frame assembly, such as a pair of rear legs, with each of the front legs being pivotably connected to a respective rear leg through a detachable joint. The seat portion includes a back support portion that is formed by a U-shaped seat back tube slipped inside a pocket in soft goods. Both ends of the U-shaped seat back tube are connected to the detachable joints pivotably connecting the rear legs to the front legs. The seat portion also includes a bottom formed by a rigid board permanently attached to a transverse member extending between the front legs and slipped into a second pocket in the soft goods.
