Benefits of technology

The present in this patented method involves injecting highly pressured nitrox into liquid metal during melter operation while it falls down onto a cooler called a converging vessel or tank inside the reactor's hearth. By doing this, there will be formed tiny bubbles that help mix the melted material together without any impurity particles being introduced. These small bubble structures improve mixing between different materials like iron oxide (iron), aluminum powder, calcium carbonate, etc., resulting in better performance of the final product made up of these components.

Problems solved by technology

The technical problem addressed in this patented text relates to improving the performance of converters' slags when they are being treated with certain substances like sulfides while preventing excessive wear on their linings due to friction between them and other parts inside the device. This helps maintain long lifespan and increases operating efficacy.

Embodiment Construction

[0024] In this embodiment, the 150t converter controls the end point in two ways of low-drawing carbon and high-drawing carbon, and the process is carried out in sequence as follows:

[0025] a. Adjusting slag and tapping: When the smelting is close to the end, raise the gun position to adjust the FeO content in the slag, so that the FeO content is greater than 12% to ensure the fluidity of the slag, measure the temperature, take samples, and throw it into the converter after passing the test Slag blocking ball, slag blocking and steel tapping, no residual steel left in the furnace;

[0026] b. Add reducing agent: add carbonaceous reducing agent to slag by 0.63-0.78wt% P weight (that is, 0.8~1.0 phosphorus equivalent) from the elevated silo, the addition amount of this embodiment is 188kg, also can press 1.25~1.45 wt%P weight (i.e. 1.2~1.4 phosphorus equivalent) is added 350kg of siliceous reducing agent from the elevated silo, and its chemical composition is shown in Table 1;...

Abstract

The invention relates the gasification removing the phosphor method in the course of converter slag, belonging to steelmaking technology field. The main question is following: at the condition of not adding dedicated device and impacting the rhythmic production, removing sulfur-phosphorous harmful substance, realizing recirculation, reducing electrical energy consumption, and reducing pollution. The method comprises the following steps: an adjusting furnace slag and tapping: FeO content being above 12%, separating slag and tapping; b adding carbonaceous and silica reducing agent; c splash slag furnace: adding reducing agent, after 5-10 seconds, falling gun and splashing slag, providing nitrogen intensity being 2.8-4.8Nm3/tíñmin; d ending the splashing slag and finishing the dephosphorization. The method neední»t improve the equipment, saving the slag, energy consumption and added operation, forming the highly effective technology integration, realizing the resource utilization, and reducing the environmental contamination.
