Abstract

The method includes the following steps of firstly, grinding waste newspaper not subjected to any chemical treatment into powder; secondly, placing the waste newspaper ground powder in a tube furnace, raising the temperature to be 400-600 DEG C under the protection of N2, and keeping the temperature for 1-3 h to obtain the waste newspaper base charcoal. Raw material sources are wide, cost is low, and raw materials are not subjected to any chemical treatment so that no pollution can be caused; the preparing process issimple, and the obtained charcoal has rich surface functional groups, high ash content and porosity, is beneficial for adsorption and is an environment-friendly material.
