Abstract

The invention discloses application of a cubic-phase Ga2Se3 crystal to nonlinear optics. A preparation method for the crystal comprises the following steps: subjecting gallium oxide, boron and selenium in a mol ratio of 1: 2: 3 to mixing, grinding and tablet compressing successively and then sealing the obtained tablet in a vacuumized quartz tube; carrying out a reaction at 850 to 1000 DEG C for 24 h or more and then carrying out slow cooling to 300 DEG C at a cooling speed of 4 to 6 DEG C / h; and washing a product obtained in the previous step and drying the product so as to obtain the pure-phase Ga2Se3 crystal.
