Abstract

The present invention relates to a vegetable oil-based soft polyurethane foam plastic and a preparation method thereof. The preparation method comprises: mixing mixed vegetable oil containing tung oil and vegetable oil having a non-conjugated carbon-carbon double bond, carboxylic acid, an inorganic acid catalyst and a hydroxylating reagent according to a certain ratio, and heating to a temperature of 35-45 DEG C; adding a hydrogen peroxide solution in a dropwise manner under stirring, maintaining the reaction at a temperature of 40-65 DEG C, and maintaining the reaction for 5-7 h after completing the adding; separating to obtain a water phase after completing the reaction, neutralizing, carrying out water washing, and carrying out pressure reducing distillation to obtain a tung oil polyol and epoxy vegetable oil mixture; adding an alkaline catalyst to prepare a low hydroxyl value vegetable oil polyol; and uniformly mixing the low hydroxyl value vegetable oil polyol, a foam stabilizer, an amine-based catalyst, an organotin-based catalyst, a foaming agent and water to prepare a component A, adding a component B isocyanate, and foaming to prepare the vegetable oil-based soft polyurethane foam plastic.
