The purification system comprises an air cooler, an air heat exchanger, a gravity oil trap, an electric oil trap, an alkaline tower, a water wash tower and a booster fan which are sequentially connected, and pyrolysis oil storage tanks are arranged at the bottoms of the air cooler, the air heat exchanger, the gravity oil trap and the electric oil trap. According to the method for purifying the electronic waste pyrolysis gas by the system, high-boiling point pyrolysis oil is recovered by the air cooler, middle-low-boiling point pyrolysis oil is recovered by the air heat exchanger in a heat exchanging manner, large-particle pyrolysis oil is recovered by the gravity oil trap, residual pyrolysis oil is recovered by the electric oil trap, and a gas phase is washed by the aid of alkaline and water and serves as fuel gas to return a combustion system. The system is simple to operate, oil and gas of the electronic waste pyrolysis gas can be completely separated, halogen elements in the pyrolysis gas can be removed to obtain clean fuel gas, and clean resource use of the pyrolysis gas is achieved.
