Abstract

A preparing method of a sintered silicon carbide porous material is disclosed. The method includes 1) a step of processing a main material into a pulp finished product, with the main material comprising a SiC granule material and a B4C granule material that is adopted as a sintering auxiliary, 2) a step of adding an auxiliary material into the pulp finished product prepared in the step 1) to prepare pulp before casting and stirring during addition, with the auxiliary material comprising acrylamide, methylenebisacrylamide and ammonium polyacrylate, 3) a step of performing mold casting, namely a step of adding ammonium persulfate into the pulp before casting, fully stirring, performing mold casting, and demolding to obtain a blank, and 4) a step of dewatering, degreasing and sintering. The SiC granule material having a small particle size is adopted as a gel main material and the B4C granule material having a large particle size is adopted as the sintering auxiliary and a skeleton material, thus achieving preparation of high-quality silicon carbide gel.
