Abstract

The invention disclose a method of treating emulsified steam turbine oil, which includes the steps of: stirring emulsified steam turbine oil and adding a magnetic deemulsifier Fe3O4-EC, continuously stirring the oil to disperse the magnetic deemulsifier in the emulsified steam turbine oil, wherein the treated emulsified steam turbine oil turns into a clear oil product, and a less amount of emulsified water and the magnetic deemulsifier Fe3O4-EC are deposited and separated in a magnetic field. In the invention, an organic magnetic Fe3O4-EC material is prepared and is added to the emulsified steam turbine oil, wherein the oil is treated under stirring. The magnetic Fe3O4-EC material herein has special hydrophilic and oleophylic properties so that the Fe3O4-EC is flocculated. Because the density of water is higher than that of oil, the Fe3O4-EC is separated out in the bottom, and water in the bottom is then discharged to achieve deemulsification. The method has little influence on additives in the steam turbine oil and has little and even no influence on use performance of the oil during treatment. The magnetic Fe3O4-EC material can be recycled to achieve recycling utilization.
