The method is characterized by including the following steps of S01, conducting hydrolysis, wherein microorganisms and enzymes are added to sewage, and large-molecular organic matter in sewage is decomposed into first-stage small-molecular organic matter through the microorganisms by means of the enzymes; S02, conducting fermentation, wherein the first-stage small-molecular organic matter is used by fermentation bacteria in the microorganisms and converted into second-stage small-molecular compound in cells of the fermentation bacteria, the second-stage small-molecular compound includes volatile acid, alcohol, lactic acid, carbon dioxide, hydrogen, ammonia and hydrogen sulfide; S03, further converting volatile acid, alcohol and lactic acid into third-stage small-molecular compound under the effect of the microorganisms, wherein the third-stage small-molecular compound comprises acetic acid. By means of the method, combustible gas produced in the sewage aeration treatment process is used for power generation, the consumption of coal in a power plant is lowered, energy is saved, and air pollution is reduced.
