The invention discloses an automatic performance test system and method of a mobile application based on an Http protocol. The system comprises a performance test main platform and a mobile proxy module running on terminal equipment, which are connected in sequence, wherein the performance test main platform comprises a Web website, a task scheduling module and an equipment management server which are sequentially connected; the equipment management server is connected with the mobile proxy module and the mobile proxy module maintains communication with the equipment management server by an XMPP protocol and is used for issuing test tasks and obtaining performance test data. According to the test system and method disclosed by the invention, automatic evaluation work of application system performance is intelligently carried out to help the user to quickly find and position corresponding bottleneck of the application system, so that the system and method have an important practical guiding value for guaranteeing that the server can stably provide services.
