Abstract

The invention provides a separating and measuring method for chromium elements with different valence states in cigarette mainstream smoke. The chromium elements with the different valence states are separated by adopting a PCX cation exchange solid-phase extraction column, and then the contents of the chromium elements with the different valence states in the cigarette mainstream smoke are measured by adopting inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry, wherein the chromium elements with the different valence states comprise trivalent chromium and hexavalent chromium.
