The method comprises the following steps: regulating pH of ammonia-nitrogen wastewater to be about 10 through alkali liquor to convert ammonium ions (NH<4+>) in the wastewater into volatile NH3; removing metal ions by flocculent precipitation and filtering; preprocessing wastewater through a cartridge filter; feeding the wastewater into a hydrophobic membrane, wherein the wastewater is fed through the inside bottom part of the membrane, and an acid absorption solution is fed through the outside bottom part of the membrane; enabling NH3 to penetrate the hydrophobic membrane by dissolving and diffusing in order to be absorbed by the acid solution outside the membrane, and thus reaching the purpose of removing ammonia nitrogen.
