Abstract

Conventional wood lacquer contains two harmful components which are TDI (toluene diisocynate) and VOC (volatile organic compounds). The single-component organic silicon modification thermoplastic acrylic acid wood lacquer is prepared from 45%-55% of organic silicon modification thermoplastic acrylic acid resin, 15%-25% of nitro-cotton liquid, 20-30% of titanium white color paste, 0.5%-2% of a leveling agent and a deforming agent and 2%-5% of butyl ester. The single-component organic silicon modification thermoplastic acrylic acid wood lacquer has the normal-temperature air drying characteristic under the condition that no curing agent is added, and therefore, the damage of the TDI in the curing agent on human bodies is completely eradicated. The modified resin has relatively low viscosity, so that during preparing the lacquer, more solids can be obtained, thus the content of the VOC is reduced, and the plumpness of paint films is improved. The single-component organic silicon modification thermoplastic acrylic acid wood lacquer has the characteristics of high paint film plumpness, high hardness, high heat resistance, high solvent resistance, high adhesive resistance and good hand feel of polyurethane paint as well as the characteristics of stable luster, small influence affected by environments, fast dryness, simple and convenient construction and long using time of common thermoplastic acrylic acid wood lacquer.
