Percussion noisemaker toy with bouncing hard objects

InactiveUS20060128265A1Resiliency near the objects facilitates bouncingMusical toysRattlesEngineeringSteel ball
A noisemaking toy with hard objects attached to terminal ends of a U-shaped handle. The hard objects can be steel ball bearings (e.g. ¾″ diameter), and the U-shaped handle can comprise a U-shaped piece of resilient spring steel wire. The legs of the handle can be pressed together by hand so that the hard objects can be contacted. The objects are shaped so that they make point contact. When the hard objects are pressed together by pressing on the legs of the handle, the objects bounce many times, producing an unusual sound. The sound is initially a rapid series of clicks, and, as energy is dissipated, the sound changes to a buzz and then a high-pitched squeak. The objects must have a hardness of at least 30, 40, or 50 Rockwell C. High hardness is preferred.

Squeaker Cap for a Water Bottle Used in a Dog Cruncher Toy

ActiveUS20200327875A1Slows down crunching and flatteningCapsClosure capsEngineeringWater bottle
A device mounts to a water bottle and produces sounds when the bottle is chewed by a dog, and includes a cap and squeaker. The cap includes: a body with a first opening on a first side defining an interior surface of a cavity, with a plurality of internal threads; and a second opening on a second side being in fluid communication with the cavity. A plurality of fingers are spaced about the second opening, and extend toward the first side, being at a first angle with respect to an axis of the interior surface. The squeaker is inserted into the second opening, and a protruding region of its housing causes the fingers to deform to a second angle with respect to the axis, after which the plurality of fingers nest between an end flange and the protruding region. Internal threads mount the device to threading of the water bottle.

Sound generation angular velocity-adjustable twirling device

A sound generation angular velocity-adjustable twirling device detachably attaches to a fabric-article at a peripheral attachment point or a central attachment point and enables rotation of fabric-article. The fabric-article unfurls and twirls at a rate dependent on the center of gravity at different attachment points on fabric-article. A rod forms the central axis. A textured outer sleeve encapsulates the rod for secure grasping. A first axis positions in the outer sleeve, fixedly attaching to a first-rod end. A fastening mechanism rotates freely about the first axis while retaining the fabric-article. The rotating fastening mechanism and the stationary first axis form a rotational relationship with low friction coefficient. A second axis pins a strap to the second-rod end. The device generates sound while twirling through a gear assembly and / or percussion instruments. The sound generated is proportional to the angular velocity of the gear, and to the applied torque to the sleeve.
