Abstract

The invention discloses a narrow-band suppression filter based on artificial surface plasmon polaritons, and relates to the fields of design of microwave systems, microwave transmission technologies and the like. The device is composed of a coplanar waveguide (CPW) and an ultra-thin periodic corrugated metal belt with defect units on the back surface of a substrate. The center frequency and the bandwidth of the filter can be adjusted through the height and the number of the defect units. In addition, an arc-shaped branch unit is further designed to increase the equivalent height of a transverse branch, so that the miniaturization of the vertical geometric dimension is realized. The filter has a very strong stop-band characteristic in a range of 4.8-6.0 GHz, and the transmission coefficient is less than-35 dB; and the transmission coefficient (S21) in a passband range reaches-1dB or above. Through subsequent analysis and processing of the filter, the simple band-stop plasma filter can find more potential applications in microwave frequency plasma circuits and antennas.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to the design of microwave system, microwave transmission technology and other fields, in particular to a narrow-band suppression filter based on artificial surface plasmon polaritons. Through subsequent analysis and processing of the filter, this band-stop plasma filter can find more potential applications in microwave frequency plasma circuits and antennas. Background technique [0002] Surface Plasmon Polaritons (SPPs) are electromagnetic waves that can propagate along the interface of two different materials at high frequencies. Usually between the metal and the dielectric surface. In past studies, it has attracted increasing attention due to its remarkable ability to guide and localize electromagnetic waves to the subwavelength scale. The unique properties associated with SPPs hold great promise for the design of ultra-small photonic circuits, high-resolution imaging, and high-sensitivity sensors, which promise the ...
