The flattening device comprises a conveying mechanism, a discharging mechanism, a clamping mechanism and a grinding mechanism. A conveying belt is arranged in theconveying mechanism. The discharging mechanism is provided with a discharging frame. The clamping mechanism is provided with a supporting frame, moving sliding blocks arranged above the supporting frame and a moving arm arranged in the moving sliding blocks, and a gripper is arranged at the bottom of the moving arm. The grinding mechanism is provided with a fixed seat, a first moving seat and a second moving seat. An inner grinding head is arranged on the first moving seat and is used for grinding the inner wall ends of steel pipes. An outer grinding head is arranged on the second moving seat,the inner grinding head penetrates through the outer grinding head, and the outer grinding head is used for grinding the outer wall ends of steel pipes.
