The whitening essence contains the following components in percentage by weight: 2%-20% of the whitening composition, 5%-20% of a humectant, 1%-5% of a skin conditioner, 0.1%-5% of a solubilizer, 0.1%-1% ofa thickening agent, 0.02%-2% of a preservative and the balance of deionized water. The invention further provides the preparation method of the whitening composition and the preparation method of thewhitening essence containing the whitening composition.
