Abstract

The present invention provides a method and apparatus for wireless charging and position tracking. The method includes operating in a first mode to effect wireless charging via at least a first coil of a plurality of coils of the device, and operating in a second mode to achieve position tracking via at least a second coil of the plurality of coils of the device. Wireless charging and position tracking can be meaningfully combined, advantages in at least cost, size, power efficiency and ease of use can be provided.
