The boiler decoking agent has the following beneficial effects: pulverized coal combustion is promoted, and coking is reduced. Copper ions generated in the decoking agent can be subjected to a reaction with coal ash, so that ignition point of carbon deposit can be reduced, and pulverized coal combustion can be promoted; meanwhile, it is unexpectedly found that the reaction process is faster in presence of manganese dioxide, and the decoking effect is better under the synergy of manganese dioxide and copper nitrate.
